On Sunday the puppies turned 3 weeks old! This means that this week they had their faces, feet, and tails shaved for the first time. Also, the draft protectors came off the whelping pen so that they can see all that is going on around them in the kitchen. The whelping box was expanded to add a 4 x 2 area for them to potty. Next week, puppies will get their first bath and blow dry and I will expand their play area in the whelping pen. If it warms up enough, they might even get to venture outside next week!
